Back in March 2023, Starbucks announced its newest coffee concoction – the Starbucks Oleato. Here is everything you need to know about when to expect TWO NEW Starbucks Oleato drinks near you!
This product is the first of its kind, offering coffee infused with premium Partanna extra virgin olive oil to create a silky smooth taste, unlike any other coffee drink on the market.
Using Starbucks’ classic arabica coffee as a base, this coffee was first launched in test stores in Italy and Milan.
Starbucks Oleato January 2024 Launch Date
We’re guessing the Oleato was a big success in these test stores, as Starbucks has recently announced that two Oleato drinks will be available in Starbucks’ locations nationwide on January 30, 2024.
While some locations will still have other Oletao drinks to choose from, we’re excited that two delicious options will be available nationwide.
Let’s dive into the two new drinks you’ll find on the menu soon.
Starbucks Oleato – What You Need To Know
Before you can decide if you should order one of Starbucks’ new Oleato drinks, it’s first important to understand the drink’s origins.
The company has noted that coffee and olives have more similarities than you’d think, as both ingredients are two of nature’s most transcendent ingredients.
Combining them is a revolutionary idea that seems appropriate for Starbucks, one of the most innovative coffee chains nationwide.
Starbucks Oleato Latte
If you normally order a latte, the Oleato Latte is certainly worth a try.
This latte uses Starbucks’ blonde espresso roast, which provides it with a really light and subtly sweet taste as a base.
Then, the espresso is then infused with extra virgin olive oil and steamed with creamy oat milk for a unique combination.
As always, Starbucks’ drinks can be customized, so you can change up the syrup flavors used in the Oleato Latte too (to keep things interesting).
A Grande size (16 ounces) of the Oleato Latte will contain 330 calories, 6 grams of sugar, and 23 grams of fat.
Oleato Golden Foam Iced Oatmilk Shaken Espresso
If you’re looking for something colder, the Oleato Golden Foam Iced Oatmilk Shaken Espresso might get you excited.
This drink includes layers of rich hazelnut flavor, rich espresso, and creamy oat milk that is infused with extra virgin olive oil.
A Grande size of this shaken espresso drink will contain 250 calories, 12 grams of sugar, and 17 grams of fat.
The addition of Olive Oil to Oleato’s drinks does increase the fat levels, however, these are healthy fats from Olive Oil.
Healthy monounsaturated fats, when consumed in moderation, can be a healthy addition to your diet and may help lower blood pressure and support other health conditions due to their antioxidant levels.
Will You Try Starbucks Oleato Drinks?
So, what do you think about the announcement of Oleato drinks coming to a Starbucks location near you?
Which drink from the Oleato lineup are you most excited to try?
We’re interested to see if these drinks are as big of a hit in all markets as they were in Italy and Milan, and if so, will there be even more Oleato drinks coming to the menu in future months?
Only time will tell!
